02Purpose of this website

This website serves as a digital contact card and as a way to get in touch. Only data required to operate the website or to answer an enquiry is processed.

03Access data and hosting

When the website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary access data, for example IP address, date and time of access, the file requested, browser information and operating system. This data is required in order to deliver the website, ensure security and detect faults.

The website is hosted by do.de / Greenmark IT GmbH. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website.

04Contact form

If you use the contact form, the details you enter are processed: name, email address, optionally a phone or WhatsApp number, and your message. This information is used solely to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns pre-contractual or contractual matters, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in responding to messages.

Name, email address and message are mandatory. Without them the enquiry cannot be answered via the form. Messages are delivered to the mailbox kontakt@marcoweber.eu, which is operated by the website’s hosting provider. No further recipients are involved.

05Protection against automated submissions

The form uses a simple arithmetic question, a hidden verification field, a minimum completion time and a time-based submission limit. No external captcha services are used and no profiles are created.

06Cookies and local settings

A technically necessary session cookie is used for the contact form. It serves solely to protect the form against misuse and is deleted when the browser is closed. Under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG no consent is required for this.

Language, text size and appearance are stored locally in your browser only if you change these settings yourself. This storage serves usability alone and is not evaluated.

07Offline use at your request

This website can be set up for use without an internet connection. Only when you activate the “Make available offline” button does your browser store a copy of the pages, images and fonts locally. Without that explicit action, nothing is stored.

No data is transmitted to the server or to third parties in the process. The local copy can be deleted at any time using the same control, or via your browser settings. The legal basis for the storage is your consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG, which you give by activating the button and may withdraw at any time.

08No analytics, advertising or third-party services

This website embeds no external content. No tracking tools, advertising networks, analytics services, third-party fonts or map services are used. All files are served from this website’s own server. The QR code containing the contact details is also generated on this server rather than by an external service.

09Retention period

Contact enquiries are stored only for as long as required to handle them or as long as statutory retention obligations apply.

10Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland.

11Encryption and security

This website is provided exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. In addition, strict security policies are in place that prevent the loading of third-party content and the embedding of this site on other websites.
